La Cage Aux Folles depicts the farcical chaos that results when a gay man attempts to pose as straight for the benefit of his son's future in-laws. This musical inspired the Hollywood comedy, The Birdcage, which many of you may know, with Robin Williams, Nathan Lane and Gene Hackman. This multi-award winning show has been released following a very successful revival in London's west end with Graham Norton and John Barrowman, amongst others, playing the lead role of Albin.
